Hulls Altogether Healthier Relay

On Tuesday 2nd June, 4 staff members participated in a citywide relay run to mark the launch of NHS Hull's Altogether Healthier e-learning programme. An 'Olympic-style Baton' was brought in by train from London, where it was then taken to a series of handover points throughout Hull and finally over a finishing line beside NHS Hull's Health Central at St Stephens Shopping Centre. Martin, Abbie, Rob and Rebecca carried the baton 1 mile from the Training Centre to their handover point at KCFM. The main aim of the event was to raise awareness of the free online learning service provided by NHS Hull to help local people gain a greater understanding about how to live a healthy lifestyle and health services available.
