Thank you for contacting us with regards to an apprentice as I was not aware this scheme existed and I think it very important in these difficult times that we try to support our youth of today and give them encouragement for their future careers.

After starting a brand new organisation on 1st April 2011, it quickly became apparent that there was more work to do within the Finance Department than the new staffing structure could comfortably cope with. As a local organisation with a community focus we wanted to provide an opportunity for someone within our community to come and develop their skills and broaden their experiences whilst providing us with essential support in the services we deliver. Daniel has brought an enthusiasm and a fresh outlook on things and even in the short time he has been with us, has integrated into the team very well. He is keen to progress and happy to help out where he can and learn new skills. With Daniel taking on some essential roles, this gives other members of team time to provide a more complete service to colleagues within our organisation.

Hull Business Training Centre Ltd have given me support and help throughout my whole Apprenticeship. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it.

I recently completed my NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration with the Hull Business Training Centre and also had the opportunity to gain my Literacy and Mathematics Level 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed my learning experience and especially enjoyed the challenges the Maths brought my way.  All the staff were very friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed my IT course and although I found some of it quite challenging, I feel that I have definitely benefited from it.  I do have more confidence where IT skills are concerned and I do recommend the course to others

Wolfreton School has been working with Hull Business Training for the last year and have found their staff to be friendly, professional and very supportive at all times.  The school has benefitted from both employing an Apprentice and from up skilling our staff through the Apprentice Framework.  We look forward to continuing to work with Hull Business Training in the future.

I’ve loved every minute of my ITQ Diploma Level 2. It’s been really beneficial to me and I honestly don’t think I would have got my new job in the communications team without it. I’d definitely recommend others to do an IT course with Hull Business Training Centre!

I would recommend taking on Apprentices to any other company as it saves a lot of time searching for the right candidate and the Apprentice can be chosen and tailored to meet the needs of the job role.

What I like best about doing an Apprenticeship is the fact you can work at your own pace and at a time that suits you.  All the staff at Hull Business Centre are so helpful and friendly and willing to find out answers to any questions you may have and with that in mind I have and would definitely recommend Apprenticeships to other people.

I think it is a good idea to do an Apprenticeship as it gets you in to work and you can progress your skills whilst you are still working.
